Monohan is exactly what this team needs. Big, strong center, with 1-2 potential, and he plays an all-around great game. If he works on his acceleration he will be a 1st line center. Easiest thing to improve on quickly is skating.

Again, I disagree. I see his potential as an abover average 2nd line center or elite 3rd line center. He's a prospect though, so we won't know for a few years.

I think maybe some of you think I hate the pick. To clarify, I don't. I would have hated it if Lindholm or Barkov were on the board. I would have taken only 1 player ahead of him for sure.

I hated the Jankowski pick, this one is at least decent.

I didn't really make a comment on the pick, but I'm not overjoyed by the Monahan pick as everyone else either. It's alright/decent value, but I'm not sold on him having 'star' upside either, I think his play is pretty reminiscent of Justin Williams.

I live in London and have seen him live. He will be a good player no doubt, but at 9th in a few years it will look silly imo.
