I agree with that. I wonder if Palmer got any more points in consideration after the win though.
Game 1 I think Clausen was a lot better. Yesterday, I think Palmer was. I did not catch the whole game though, so my opinion may not be exactly accurate.
Watched the first half then caught the last bit of the game

Would Palmer even get an NFL job if not with the Bears? I think he's a guy we have a chance to sign to our practice squad if they want to keep him around.

I hope some good WR's or at least capable WR's get cut in coming weeks

Yeah, the WRs are brutal and Weems has got to go. I'm hoping we scoop up some of the cuts from other teams. We need a return man too.

The 30-year-old Holmes, who had been released by the Jets, will battle for a roster spot behind Bears standouts Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall. He struggled with injuries and production the last three seasons with the Jets.

He isn't the player he once was but he should be productive enough behind Marshall/Jeffery and when Wilson comes back the Bears will have a pretty good 1-4 WR group
I doubt Holmes will be a diva because he knows how close he is to being out of NFL with lack of interest in him this offseason

According to a source with "knowledge of the injury," Wilson broke his collarbone in three separate places. The specific timeline is 12-14 weeks. It means he'll almost certainly begin the year on injured reserve/designated to return, and leaves the door open for Santonio Holmes to run away with No. 3 duties. I.R./return would make Wilson ineligible to return before Week 10, as the Bears are on bye in Week 9. Week 10 would be a best-case scenario, and isn't terribly likely. Wilson no longer has re-draft upside for the 2014 season, but remains a hold in Dynasty leagues. Aug 18 - 2:30 PM
