He's been better in practice and now one game. Palmer is a joke, should have never brought him to camp, waste of good reps.

That's really bad if you are cutting your first round pick only 2 years later...when it had nothing to do with injuries.
Agreed, kind of the nature of the draft though. About 50% of 1st round picks bust out.

Yeah and if they cut him, it's a sign he doesn't put 'saving face' over what's best for the team. That would be a good thing.

Khaseem Greene looked really good to me and looks like he is a lot better this year. No point in having Shea around anymore, no spot for him.

Put him on special teams (His speed should work there on kickoff/punt coverage) and tell him that is only place he will play if he is on this roster

So your saying Emery not only screwed up with pick of Shea but then gave him horrific contract that continues to haunt Bears
They will eat dead cap no matter if they cut him now or next year
If Bears cut him now as a post June 1st cut they incur dead cap of
2.253M in 2014
1.888M in 2015
If they trade him (no one is stupid enough to want him) the dead cap willl be
2.24M in 2014
1.11M in 2015
Either way cut losses now and move one ,, You are wasting roster spot and depriving your team of an NFL quality talent in that spot
The goal is to turn this defense around and compete and you wont be doing that with absolute miserable failures like Chris Conte and Shea McClellin on roster and one injury away from starting again
