Cutler's career stats are much much closer to Dalton then romo.

And don't kid yourself, the gap between dalton and cutler isn't big

At the end of the day, your record and stats say what you are. Yes, Cutler has more potential. It would be nice to tap into it before he has osteoporosis.

Of course Cutler had less talent to work with then either

And the gap between Cutler/Dalton is a lot bigger then you say

Dalton is basically a modern day Stan Humphries. And Humphries never got to play with AJ Green type talent

What's wrong with Brandon Marshall or Alshon Jeffery?

Nothing at all

Infact both excel when QB throwing them ball isn't running for his life behind worst OL in NFL

We saw how good offense looked last year under that scenario

Dalton in Cincy has been holding back the Bengals offense IMO

I wouldn't invest longterm in him if I was Bengals ,, I also would have fired Marvin Lewis years ago

The reality of situation is that in Cincy just being a playoff team is good enough for Mike Brown

So you're saying the O-line still sucks? I think it's good enough. Every position group can't be stacked. The Bears offense was about as balanced as you're realistically going to get. The team as a whole coming up is about as balanced as you're going to get. Is it perfect? No. Is it as good as a team like the Seahawks or Broncos? No. But it's as good as it is going to get. If Cutler puts up his usual performance, we'll probably be sitting at 10 wins, hopefully make the playoffs and from there, we'll see.

I think he was suggesting that the offense finally did well last year because the line was finally better...but now looking at it again maybe not.

Bottom line is there aren't any reasons/excuses anymore....every other possible piece is in place to be successful now from the head coach on down to the solid O-line and offensive weapons to choose from.

Yes, exactly, no more ****ing excuses. In the words of Dick Vermeil, it's time to take the diaper off. I hope so much that he can do it. Realistically, I see him playing slightly better but still having the devastating turnovers than can lose any well crafted game. We'll see.

I worry more about him staying healthy than the turnovers, but the turnovers are still a concern, no less.

You just have to accept that he is going to turn the ball over, and know it's going to happen... And when it does, hope it's not one of those meltdown games. That, or just make sure your drink is never even as close to half empty.

On the plus side, the team seems to be finally souring on Palmer. I don't know if that means Clausen is much better but it's something.

I'd just like it to happen less at crucial/bad times.

Bennett sounds like a no brainer.

Remember, they did want him to take a pay cut, they only cut him after he refused. So now you get him cheaper, it all worked out

So Martellus has been suspended/not allowed to practice after getting into a fight with Kyle Fuller. Apparently there's more too it than just a fight.
