As long as it's anywhere but New York. My office building is on the same block as radio city. Fans at the draft act like the biggest as*****. They congregate outside and shout insults at anyone wearing a suit, they shout despicable things at female passersby...it's a drunken pack mentality...good riddance, I hope to never again be anywhere near it.

Isn't that New Yorkers in a nutshell?

My rare interaction with people from NY/NJ hasn't left a very positive impression

Yes, all "New Yorks" congregate and talk **** to suits and verbally abuse women. :sarcasm: That kind of thing would never happen in Chicago. :sarcasm:

I will agree that a lot of Jets fans and/or people from New Jersey are trash though.

New Yorkers are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Jersey and Long Island, on the other hand...:)

I think it's a function of having a few thousand drunk nfl fans at what is a relatively lame event. The 'spirit' of the event is to overly cheer/boo picks of players most people have never heard of. It lends itself to sheer rowdiness/obnoxiousness. I moved to ny for college and I've lived here 23 years, and the only place I've ever seen people act this way is at the nfl draft.

I'm so sick of hearing how good Cutler is. What will he be after this season, 32? Can we agree this is his last season to fulfill his potential?
