Listen, Lefty Grove is a top 3 pitcher all time, an argument can even be made for top 2. However, I see no scenario in which he is a better pitcher than Walter Johnson. Grove going second overall is a mistake IMO

I already have a utility guy, he just happens to start for me. Of course I have to draft another second baseman at some point in case Pete ever has to move somewhere else on the diamond ;)

Pfft you sly Aussie, picking before i could even pm you. Also, love me some Hoss, it was between him and Guidry for me, but the left handedness was too big of a draw not to take.

I'm glad someone finally took Old Hoss, made my next selection(s) easier - I had him queued up just behind Catfish earlier but had more pressing needs the last few rounds and was puzzled he kept going back in the draft.

I like the Koji Uehara pick.

In his one full season in relief in Japan he put up a 1.74 ERA and 0.82 WHIP in 64 innings, struck out 72 and walked only 4 while saving 32 games. That's a ridiculous K/BB ratio of 16.5. It's great to have a reliever who doesn't walk anyone.
