I guess it’s Desnoyers or Martin which is fine if we have better lottery luck next year
A positive is that I think Martone could be drafted before the Flyers pick leading to someone falling. He should really be an option on our board anyway
I cannot wait to be told on loop how every single player the Flyers might take at 6th has high end potential. Home run potential. So lucky. There’s your perspective.
I hope Utah takes Martone. That leaves a center for the Flyers other than McQueen, O’B or Martin. All three of those could be good but I am hoping for one of Desnoyers, Hagens , or Frondell.
Wonder what the cost will be to move up to 4 if Armstrong thinks there isn’t much of a difference between 4 and 6? I wouldn’t do it unless only one of our later 1sts/2nds is the cost plus #6. Feels like the type of move you get burned on. Just take what you’re given at 6
#6 + a 2nd rounder for #4, to move in front of Nashville for Desnoyers. Jonesy will come out in the presser afterward and talk about how they looked at Howie Roseman for inspiration because of "how aggressive he is during the draft" or something
Flyers passed on Buium because of small Drysdale and Andrae, now they will pass on the small Hagens for Martin if he falls because Luchanko isn't big. Darkest Timeline(tm)
In case anyone still cares and is bothered, just look on the bright side: whether they picked 4th or 6th, they were always going to reach for some mediocre player because they like his character. Nothings changed.
