Flyers fan don't want to hear this but don't be surprised to see Brady Martin show up on a lot of future rankings in the top 10-12 range.

He's legit though. Has the potential to be a Richards/Bennet style 2C

I’m intrigued by him. Need to study up on him a bit more.

Richards was what 25th oa in 2003 draft. Carter we got at 11. I realize this is not a deep draft, the way we are playing, our pick should be top 8. 10-12 for Martin is a bit of a reach.

If you project him as a 2C like a Bennet type like I do , I don’t think top 15 is too much of a reach, guess we’ll see where he ends up

I took in the last two B-B Armada (QMJHL) games, and saw Caleb Desnoyers vs Justin Carbonneau. Neither stood out in their Saturday tilt but Carbonneau dominated the Armada's game against Charlottetown on Thursday. It would be cool to have a local boy go to the Flyers, even though a RW is the last position of need.

Carbonneau put up 4 goals and an assist yesterday too, 3 of them were Ovi one timers on the PP lol. He's super skilled but has a lot of junior habits, It's like how I felt watching Hage last year but worse. I'd be scared to swing high on him but I think he's a home run if he hits.

I didn't go to their blowout win yesterday -- stupid family time! -- but agree on your general points. One particular thing I noticed was his habit of cherry-picking. And a RWer is definitely not someone this franchise should need to reach for.

Start looking at sleepers and profiles with bottom 6 floors and middle 6 ceilings, keywords are 2-way, culture, hard work, and either muck or grind, if we're lucky enough to get a top 5 pick.
