Well after the collapse last night I'm feeling more interested in the draft.

I like big players and I like premium positions. Here's a list of guys that make it through my filter and who are of interest in the top 15.

C Roger McQueen 6’5 WHL OCT
C Caleb Desnoyers 6’2 QMJHL APR
C Anton Frondell 6’0 Alsvenskan MAY
C Jake O’Brien 6’2 OHL JUN
RD Radim Mrtka 6’6 WHL JUN
RD Blake Fidler 6’4 WHL JUL
RD Logan Hensler 6’2 NCAA OCT

Sick of your paid shit being posted here. there has to be a rule for that. idk how a thread is allowed for paid content.

you're a blowhard man! never was a fan of you even in the arizona days and all your stupid trade offers over the years. ppl laugh at the shit you came up with for trades, and now you're trying to be an insider.

So anybody is allowed to push their paywall product on hfboards? Should we just make this forum an advertising space? There has to be rules for this stuff. if it wasn't behind a paywall I'd understand and would be fine with it tbh
How ironic! Post your email, I’ll comp you. Hahahaha

Anyone have thoughts on Frondell?
Some agencies have him top 5, some have him in the range that we'll be picking.

This seems like a draft with a variety of C options in the top 15.

If Hagen's and Misa project as low end 1Cs. There's McQueen, Desnoyers, O'Brien, Frondell and Ryabkin that all project towards an NHL 2C.

That makes 7 C's, and we'll have a chance to pick from at least a couple of them if we have a top 16 pick. We're currently slotted with 10th.

Assuming that Iginla is a LW, we don't have any prospects that could replace Hayton in the future. We should fix that.

Iginla LW, Gunner RW. Need a 1C or high end 2C for these guys and leave Hayton as 3C where he belongs, and is working well with Doan and Maccelli. The only problem is where to find one. Draft? Maybe. Trade? Prepare to give up this years 1st. +. IF we go with the draft, that player is 2-3 yrs. or more away. We need one next year. Because of Iginla's injury he could still be a year away. Could But be ready? BA should move heaven on earth to find such player.

yeah, I like O'Brien, but realistically he's not going to be able to contribute to a 2nd line role for another 4 years, most likely 2030 (think about that one)...so yeah, I'm all up for trading the 1st with other players for a legit 2nd line C or better

I really like Desnoyers but I'm not sure he will be there by the time they pick. He really is a perfect 2C. Skates well, has size, plays physical, can play all situations, over 60% in the faceoff circle and has elite vision and passing. He doesn't score highlight reel goals but he is very opportunistic, like a Jeff Carter. He is also captain material and has won at just about every level.

He has a very good chance to lead the Q in scoring as a 17 year old which is quite rare. I believe Lafreniere and Crosby are the only ones to do it this century. Nobody seems to be talking about him.

I’m a huge Desnoyers fan. One of my favorite players in the draft. I have him ranked 5th overall.

I have to wonder just when Buffalo loses all hope (again) and moves Tage Thompson.
