Pretty one dimensional (though goal scorer is a nice dimension) and I really hope we don't draft yet another winger with our first pick.

It's truly incredible how well I was doing watching prospects in the fall before giving up. I felt so ahead this year, and now I don't know who the f*** these people are. Alas!
Interesting Parekh rating. I mentioned to you in January that the guy he reminds me of ceiling-wise is Bouchard, who Scouching mentioned too, although I thought Bouchard had more build up speed. But it's a narrow archetype. My gut also tells me he'll go closer to the Flyers pick, unless maybe Seattle (?) is particularly bullish.
You’re not missing much outside the top guys.
I’ve been back and forth on him just like I was with Smith last year. I have no idea what he’s gonna be.

So the Wild are up 2-0 in the 3rd. I believe if they win tonight and the Flyers lose tomorrow, then the Flyers are locked in at picking 12th.

I will say this, if the Flyers get into the playoffs. It's the playoffs, but if they do lose, it does seem they get 12th. Which isn't the worst, but clearly being in the middle of this draft is balls.

If they finish 12th, at least they can move up to 2nd if they win the lottery. Isn't it 10 spots max now?

Flyers can win tonight and still pick #12. If Minny wins and Detroit and Pittsburgh each earn a loser point or win the Flyers are 12 pending the lottery. That is a very interesting spot, sitting there at the lottery with a chance at #2, #3, probably #12, possibly #13 or #14 at the worst, with probably the #27 pick from Florida and their own (compensatory) #51 pick to try to move up into the top 10 if desired.
Celebrini, Demidov, Lindstrom, Leshunov, and Dickenson will probably be the top 5 in some order. After them, Eiserman (who could go in the top 5), Catton, Buium, Parekh, Yakemchuk, and Silayev, maybe Helenius and/or Iginla slip into the top 10-12. Someone or two there probably fall out. Greentree, Brandseg-Nygard, Jiricek, Hage and Connelly are the possible guys to move up and replace someone. A wildcard is Letourneau who some GM may think is the next big thing (pun intended). Jiricek slots into that 12-17 range as well.
I think the Flyers have a shot at a trade up possibly for Catton, who is a great fit for the Flyers, but I don't think falls to them. The top 5 I have listed are probably out of range baring a lottery win. If they pick #2 or 3, they probably go Lindstrom, Demidov as they covet the center, especially the big center, with an outside shot at Dickenson, thinking about pairing (keeping) Sam and Bonk together going forward.
They may have a shot at number 12 getting Eiserman, Yakemchuk, or Parekh as teams overthink their warts and pass on them.
I really like Hage at at #12-17. If he is gone and the the top 12 I mentioned are gone, I think Id take Connelly ahead of Greentree (whom I like, but we have a lot of RWs and few LWs, and they are close), and MBN.
Barring a trade, Hage gives them a center with offensive upside. Eiserman is an elite goal scring LW, and the Flyers could really use that. Connelly has a ton of offensive upside too at LW. Yakemchuk is a big physical offensive defenseman who can run a PP1, as can Parekh and Buium obviously. Iginla could be a good goal scoring C or winger.
They have a shot at a good quality player here.

There are not 75 players in this years draft, last years draft and next years combined draft better than Misa in North America...
