LOB. He has as many goals, well rested, respected in the room.

Do you ever think about what you write? didn't think so.
I’ll go with Bear and myself on this, with the comfidence that he and I are correct.

I wouldn't bench Kerfoot either, but I would Crouse or Schmaltz. I doubt Bear does bench any of the three. He will just bench Carcone and bring in LOB, or something like that.
Then you probably shouldn’t have carried on, like you’d bench all three.

2024-2025: 19pts (8-9-3)
2023-2024: 23pts (10-7-3)
2022-2023: 18pts (7-9-4)
2021-2022: 10pts (5-15)
2020-2021: 21pts (9-7-3)
We should be at least 23 to 25 points. We will need 94 to 96 points this year. Because of the D injuries I will accept 90 points. Anything less Smith should see as failure.

Come on down for a beer. Thank you.

Can one of you techy guys help an old man out. 20 games into the year and we are at 19 points. What was our point total for 20 games for the last 4 years please? Come to Costa Rica and I will buy you a beer.

It doesn't look like the rebuild is going to well for our 5th year GM and 4th year coach, where is the progress, metrics, anything......If this was any other NHL team, the coach and GM would get booted.

Just stating all three are underperforming. Mind you, most of the team is. Or maybe they are performing up to expectations of management.

Come on now. Last year we had 70 pts., this year we are on pace for 74pts. Using this metric, we should be on pace for the playoffs around the ten years BA forecasted.:sarcasm:

Now, now, lets set the record straight:
20-21, 54 points in 56 games, pretty good, of course BA doesn't get credit, that goes to the coach of the year now in Canada, after all BA was "evaluating".
21-22, 56 points in 82 games, 2 more points in 26 more games, first semi official year of the BA/Bear show
22-23, 70 points, 14 point improvement, we all be feeling good now!
23-24, 77 points, ok 10% improvement, only 20 points out of the playoffs.
24-25, low 70 point pace, but hey we have injuries, other NHL teams apparently avoid this somehow:)

Natives are getting restless now, Hey, but BA said it takes 8-10 years to build a sustainable winning franchise and organIzation. I think he might be right, the question now might be who is the GM and coach going to be by years 8-10?

Still stuck in Forum 40
I'm not expecting this team to go 0 for feburary this season! Expecting a much better second half than what has been, but GMBA needs to tweak the roster.
Norris or Pinto would be a huge trade for Utah! I rather have MacEwan than O'Brien too.
Not only do I think Provorov would be a great fit in Utah, I like our chances of re-signing him if we acquire him and no reason not to be able to outbid all others.
