Honestly surprised (in a good way) they’re going with a more undersized puck moving defense. They seemingly didn’t sacrifice talent for fit like they usually do.

I went to that game. From the second period on he put on a show. He would take the puck from his blue line and try to beat 4 swiss players. Didn't succeed but he beat two or three before the fourth player took it from him. Clearly the best player on team Canada. A little small but he might have another growth spurt in him by the time he makes the NHL.

12/26 is the first official game. There is a pre-tournament game tonight on NHL Network though.

I think the WJCs might be the first actual hockey games I've watched in 2 plus years. Just window shopping to see Bedard and will know that Flyers won't be able to draft him cause #HockeyGuyThings.

Only got through the first period. Might watch the rest tonight. The numbers are hard to see on the white jerseys but I think Casey only played a couple shifts.

Sweden doesn't have names on their jerseys. Ohgren made a sweet feed to Ostlund but he sailed the one tee. Lysell buried his though.



Ohgren seems to be heating up after a slow start. It'll be interesting to see if my Ohgren > Gauthier take plays out. He doesn't have the open ice game, but his small area game is phenomenal.

In case anyone is watching and heard that dickhead talking about Farjestad, Karlstad is not "a couple hours outside Stockholm" - it's exactly four hours to the west on the other side of the country from Stockholm. My ex-gf is from there and we lived there for three months when I first moved to Sweden.
