The shots aren’t too far apart but I’ve felt USA has had the puck more in this game but yeah Finland’s goalie hasn’t been good.

Starman just said “the Finns get this one tied up”. Ah it’s 4-2.

I thought he was underwhelming against Slovakia. I didn’t watch against Switzerland. But Luke Hughes looks really good so far today.

The skating & skill on his good sized frame honestly looks like he could be the closest thing to Makar eventually in the NHL.

This is a GREAT woman.

That was a nice chip pass by Gauthier along the boards on the Cooley goal. The thing I couldn’t get over was how much he faded into the background last year. He’s clearly the third wheel on that line and that’s not really 5th overall material.

How did James Snuggyrude last to 23? He's got game. I guess the same way Hutson goes 62. People evaluated that whole NTDP team strangely.

Definite Stank-Johnson-Foerster vibes. Except Foerster made some dime passes and really didn't shoot much, and Gauthier is a turret. But Gauthier has the ability to impact with his feet more than Foerster -- he just hasn't much?

Lambert is so frustrating to watch

Didn't you have him 3rd overall?

2nd. If he improves his decision making he’d be nasty. I’m just not sure how easy that is.

What do you do with him? I'm not sure the AHL is the right path this year either. HIs CHL rights are with Seattle, and they're a top team and offense. Feel like he just needs a step back to dominate again.

Not sure Stankoven saw Clarke and wasn't just centering it, but what an effort. It's funny to watch guys shit themselves when they assume Bedard will shoot.

Tuomaala looked good today too though.

Idk. If that development team understands what he needs to fix and can build good drills that’ll help, I think it wouldn’t be bad to stay. But going down a level to get a lot of minutes does seem like the best move.
