Anyone see the new trailer for Star Wars: Rogue One that they premiered during the Olympics last night?

Looks awesome. I'd love for a Star Wars movie that has an overly serious, darker tone for the whole film, like this one appears to have.

Looks awesome. I absolutely love the fact that Star Wars has gone again with a female as the lead character. Rey from The Force Awakens was tremendous, and the franchise's most powerful character since Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader IMO. She was also one of the most likable lead characters in any movie I've seen in a long time.

I'm hoping the Jyn Erso character is the same, but like you said, maybe darker and more serious. The trailer certainly doesn't make you feel warm and fuzzy and that's a good thing IMO.

Agreed 1000 times over on the female lead. All the people *****ing and moaning about a female lead in a Star Wars film need to pull their heads out of their collective ***** and realize there were already 6 Star Wars films with a male lead.

It's just about time. The Phantom Menace thru Revenge of the Sith couldn't have been any more awful acting and script wise. They were visually stunning IMO but that little kid then Hayden Christiansen were AWFUL. Also, you know the scripts are bad when Natalie Portman can't save you.

The new movie I just loved Rey, Finn and Poe Dameron. Kylo Ren would have been better had I not seen Adam Driver in Girls.

Honestly unless McDonald's has started making it I don't see how that is possible. That line is always the longest in the entire food court.. My kids love it but it looks like you can bounce the chicken higher than a basketball.

LOL. I generally have better luck at the one in the Woburn Mall. It has it's own entrance and isn't really connected to the mall itself, so it's not the standard "mall food court" food quality and the hot meals are made to order.

I'll be impressed if they pull off Rogue one without plot holes.

Huge fan of ANH and Empire may be my favorite movie ever period.

Pumped for Shinedown tonight!!!

Suicide squad was throughly entertaining me. The soundtrack was The teets- the villain was corny. I liked all the actors and actesses... Will smith was cool. El Diablo was fantastic. Harley Quinn fantastic. Didn't like her talking too much but my was she nice to look at ,,,,I guarantee msst ladies with be Harley Quinn for Halloween and I hope I get invited to all of them :)

We bought the leather seating recliners whwre the one Arm can actually flip up and make two seats one big seat which is very nice-the screen was big as hell and the sound was disturbed level vs the old Dave matthews band level most theatres are, it was actually almost too loud.

I wish they would have focused even more on Deadshot and made him the center of the film. I would have either cut the Joker or limited him to a cameo.

It suffered from a lot of what plagues the X-Men series, IMO; having too many characters and under developing them. I would have liked more of El Diablo and less of Boomerang. Slipknot's backstory ended up being cut and he turned out to be a waste of a character. Also, Enchantress boasts this doomsday machine and we get no payoff and a rather lame end battle.

I think Guardians of the Galaxy was comparable in terms of bringing together a mismatched team of convicts and was far superior. I also thought the soundtrack worked a lot better in GOTG. SS had a great soundtrack, but a lot of the songs just felt forced to me. The whole thing felt sloppy.

That Russian league was funny stuff. Reminds me of the Laval Cheifs from this hard to find video. This was a real league where the fans were guaranteed fights or their money back. Absolute crazy minor pro league from 2004. The full length movie is on youtube worth a watch for anyone that likes the tough side of the game

For as long as they promoted it, it certainly wasn't put together well. Definitely lacking on character development. The villain was super corny I thought. It seems as if DC cannot ever make cool looking CGI. The soundtrack was definitely just thrown in there, not fitting certain times, but on Dolby it sounded fantastic and I love all of those songs. I did love most of the action scenes, thought they were pretty neat. Was entertained by it, but certainly wasn't Captain America Civil War..was far superior to Batman vs Superman though (although anything is).

GOTG was truly an underrated flick.

The Quiet Corner
We had some severe thunderstorms this past weekend. One lightning strike on the pond across the street from my house and I woke up to one tv and satellite box destroyed. Thank God the surge suppressor saved the air conditioner or I would have been totally screwed instead of just partially screwed.

Now I have to wait until Friday for the DirecTV tech to bring the new box & hook everything up (he's going to check the dish too). Man they suck since AT&T bought them.

I know it could have been much worse, there were two houses in neighboring towns hit by lightning that caught on fire

Not on the internet, it wasn't. :p:
Maybe compared to those Avengers/other non-Fantastic 4 Marvel universe ones which is all you'll ever read about for months after release on certain pages.

How many times is it acceptable to break up and get back together before a relationship is truly over?
