OMG :cry::cry::cry:

MOSCOW — A Russian passenger plane with 92 people aboard, including a well-known military band, crashed into the Black Sea on its way to Syria on Sunday minutes after takeoff from the resort city of Sochi, the Defense Ministry said.

I saw them live when I worked for ESPN back in 1987

But this clip shows how talented they really were.

OK 2016 just stop it :rant:

Singer George Michael has died aged 53, his publicist has said.

The star, who launched his career with Wham in the 1980s and later continued his success as a solo performer, is said to have "passed away peacefully at home".

Thames Valley Police said South Central Ambulance Service attended a property in Goring in Oxfordshire at 13:42 GMT.

Police say there were no suspicious circumstances.

Wow. My sisters and I were singing Christmas Carols and songs last night, and all of us being big on the 80's, we definitely included Last Christmas.

What does everyone think of doing an OT get-together and B's game sometime in the new year?

I'm in if it's March 11. :)

Thanks everyone for the Patriots Day takes. We did watch the documentary, which was very moving.
I had an icky feeling about the movie but Westy wants to see it so we probably will.

I went and saw Manchester By The Sea, but I'm not quite sure what to say.

Only a few of us old timers will get this reference but every time I hear 'Manchester By The Sea'. I think of this man who was a Boston TV legend with his commercials back long ago and he is still alive and doing well at 93.

Yes, the Saladmaster guy! He sure could bang those pans.

In Connecticut the commercials were always on during Big Time Wrestling.

You might need a hanky to read this story

http://bluejacketsxtra.dispatch.com...utm_campaign=Blue+Jackets&utm_source=facebook

The sixth-largest crowd to witness a Blue Jackets regular-season game packed Nationwide Arena on Thursday night.

One of the few vacant seats in the sold-out building was reserved for a woman who's been dead five years. Season-ticket holder John Kennedy would have it no other way.
The 76-year-old former Ohio State professor sits in the front row of Section 223 with his binoculars and transistor radio to feel close to two great loves of his life — hockey and his late girlfriend, Jane Williams.

Some might wonder how a fan could pay $1,500 a season to keep the chair next to him unoccupied. It's a small price, Kennedy said, on nights like this one when the upstart Blue Jackets score four third-period goals to beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 7-1. As the crowd roars and the cannon thunders, he envisions Jane turning to fellow fan Kim Carter to slap hands in celebration like they always did.

“I keep it because it’s her seat,†said Kennedy, swaddled in his familiar Blue Jackets coat, scarf and cap. “She is there, she is at the game. Can you ever imagine what will happen when we get into the Stanley Cup final and she doesn’t have a seat?â€

I'd be in for a B's get together depending on the date...gotta fly in from MSP but it's not too difficult. :)

Haven't been to a game at the Garden since the B's come from behind playoff win against Montreal 3 years ago.

Got a drone for Christmas and I've already seen multiple missing drone posts on FB. Gotta learn to fly it before you fly it!

Heading to City Walk to see Passengers the new Chris Pratt/Jennifer Lawrence movie. Nothing like escaping the massive midday crowds waiting to check out Harry Potter.

Harry Potter 'land' down there was the highlight of my latest trip. Rode Gingrots three times.
Then in the potion shop you go to get insulted.

Me trying to squeeze by to employee: ' excuse me miss'
Her - ' there is no excuse for you old man'

I was shocked!
The Bride busted out laughing.

Until employee says to Bride - ' what you laughing at, hes yours , you picke him'

Hilarious!

I don't know how they can top it because It's freaking awesome! We got in an hour early Monday since we're staying on site and you really need it to get the true experience without being suffocated by everyone rushing to it when the park actually opens.

You need an entire day just for that part of the park.

This place is packed with more people than I can ever remember.

I was impressed with the new Transformers ride.

Nice to see that Citywalk has gotten a bit of a makeover as well.
