A man has a serious head injury after being attacked in a West Lethbridge home early Tuesday morning.
Lethbridge Regional Police are investigating after a man was attacked in his west side home early Tuesday morning (Dec. 23). It happened just before 1:30 am in the 300 block of Highlands Boulevard. Investigators say a woman along with a masked man entered the home, pepper sprayed the victim and struck him in the head with a weapon fracturing his skull. The 32 year old victim was transferred to hospital in Calgary where he remains in serious, but stable condition. Police say the victim and suspects are known to each other. The woman is described as aboriginal, roughly five foot seven, wearing a grey hoodie. The man has darker skin with a bald or shaved head and was wearing a black leather jacket and a balaclava. - Tom Roulston
