I remember back in the day getting candy apples and caramel apples made by old ladies as treats, those were the good old days……….

Sounds awesome. Now it's all the same pre packaged bars from the same 2-3 companies.

I've been giving out the large chocolate bars and different stuff for years now. Kids know and they come. I'm the house to go to. Haha.

Same here, out in the country we don’t get many kids, maybe thirty if the weather’s good, always give out full size bars, the kids think they won the lottery……..

A Tribute to Fugu

Hey all, I've been trying to find someone who can help me with a banner for HF that would remember Fugu. Basically the idea is to replace the puck at the end with a puffer fish like she used as her avatar for years. I've spoken with Buffaloed. He said that he doesn't imagine Crave would have an...

The puffer fish in the banner is in honour of one of the founding HF moderators named FuGu, who passed away in 2018 due to breast cancer. May she rest in peace.

It was part of her avatar, when HF used to allow them. It has been there ever since.

Not sure about the crab.

Now if they could just make the forum work properly and drop the constant ads which thankfully I’ve figured away around the place could return to what it was, every new iteration is worse than the previous one imo……..
