The only major sports team in Los Angeles that is home grown is the Kings.

I would probably hate the nfl if the Raiders came back. I'm a casual nfl fan but the Raiders culture is unnerving and I'd want no part of that. I won't be anywhere near that stadium when the Raiders play the rams.

Where are the rams going to play in the interim?

Boooo. This like getting back together with and ex who got married, won the big prize, which will never be yours, and then came running back years later. New team or nothing.

I DO feel a little like "Indecent Proposal" Woody Harrelson but **** it. So happy this is finally happening.

The Coliseum until 2018 or 2019 .

I'd self-fund that goddamn stadium if I had a dollar for every time I've read "bandwagon" in a St. Louis fan post.

Blues OT thread has so much ********.. it's worth a glance.

Very entertaining.

[mod] I didn't see a whole lot of sympathy coming out of St. Louis when the Rams landed there in 1995; as a matter of fact, I very much recall signs at their POS stadium with "Thank You LA" written on them.

So, turnabout is fair play. The NFL giveth, and the NFL taketh away. It's been a long time coming; now I can finally take my son, who just turned 22, to a pro football game.

Can't wait.

I predict non-sellouts by Week 3.

And you'd be wrong.

Did you see the crowds in St. Louis when the Rams moved there? I think they were playing in Busch stadium while they were waiting for that box to be built.

Rams may not sell 72,000 seats per game, but it will get close. I know I will be going. Be like the old days...going to the Coliseum to see the Rams. Someone pinch me.

Apparently all the delusional fans in St. Louis forget that the Rams were LA's team for nearly 50 years. Piss off.

1. Ditch those ****ing awful gold and blue uniforms.
2. Fire Jeff Fisher.
3. Get a legitimate QB.

I'm happy for Rams fans. I just don't think LA cares enough to fill that bowl every weekend.

I liked being able to watch various NFL games each weekend in LA without having to shell out for Sunday Ticket, now they'll all be blacked out for all Rams, all the time.

I think it's like, $99. That gonna break the bank for you, Tony?

Go to the games. Great experience. It should be kick-ass the first few weeks!

Any team moving to any market would be guaranteed 5 years of sellouts. That will be increased by the new stadium factor.

Regardless of the fact that this market lost it's team and won't want to lose it again.

Congrats to you guys getting the Rams back where they belong. They should of never left.

1. Ditch those ****ing awful gold and blue uniforms.

I feel the same way about those uniforms, and the yellow/gold and blue uniforms of the Dickerson era I wasn't a big fan of either. Hate when the color of the helmets doesn't match the color in the jersey's.

I would love to see these beauties brought back though:

Or maybe a modern version of that color scheme. Great look. :handclap:

Yeah, I think we are stuck with them. I posted a graphic in the other thread that showed we had those uniforms from 1973 all the way up until they left, and then four more years after that. They won the Super Bowl with those colors.

Anyway, I might start a writing campaign to Kroenke to bring back the blue and whites. Those were ****ing awesome.

You are the man!

Want the blue-and-whites back too. We should start an online petition.

I'm getting season seats most likely. It's much easier to make a once a week commitment for 1/4 the year. I have a ton of friends who are super-excited as well. I know that's not thousands upon thousands of people, and I worry a bit about competing interests, but football in LA, man, I think people may be underestimating how rabid people are for it.

Yeah, I mean I get why they're upset. It sucks for them, but at least they didn't have to watch their team move away only to win it all.
