I have to admit the one thing you guys do far better than our equivalent is bacon. Over here we only ever have a type of bacon called rashers in our breakfasts, which look like this...

Streaky bacon has never really been a thing in Irish breakfasts.

Loads of Irish people will argue to their death that rashers are better but they are not, they just aren't.

Over half a ton of bacon! Jesus.

I only found out about the London series about a month ago. If I had known about it earlier in the year I would have tried to pop over to catch a game. Flights from Cork to London are cheap as chips and takes less than an hour. I am keeping an eye out for when the Pats make the trip as I'll try and get tickets when they do. It never even occurred to me that they would play baseball games there.

All of the hate being thrown at runny eggs and baked beans should be directed at seafood instead. All of that stuff sucks. Big time.

In terms of baked beans, yes please. And I'll take my eggs runny every day of the week. Runny yolks are the best part.

Runny yolks are disgusting plus they make a mess on my plate. Who wants bacon slathered in yolk for ffs?? I don't that's for sure.

I will admit, I have often wondered who the first person was to look at them and think "oh, tasty" but whoever they were, they were right!!!

It's true, they're disgusting looking but man do they taste great

It is so strange- I am the world's fussiest eater. I loathe vegetables, not crazy about fruit either. Just a meat & potatoes kind of girl. But damn I love just about any kind of seafood although I draw the line at calamari and sushi (I don't do any kind of raw meat/fish).

I specifically ask for my eggs to be scrambled hard. This past weekend, we were at breakfast and I got some sort of bowl, that was on the menu with an over easy egg, and I forgot to change it. @Kovi said she was super surprised I ate it. it was closer to over medium, and barely runny, but it wasn't my favorite. But I'll eat scrambled eggs for days. In fact we had scrambled eggs and waffles for dinner last night. Also, eggs require Cholula. Not Franks, Not Tobasco. Cholula.

That's so funny. I love eggs, but I generally dislike them scrambled. The only way I eat them even close to scrambled is in an omelette because that has other stuff in it.

My ex had a great recipe, which we made a lot when a big get-together was happening. Sometimes they baked for like 6 hours. But they were sooooo good. I think I made a copy, but it makes a huge portion, so making it for just @Kovi and me seems silly.
Oh haigh.

we married now.... which means surrender the bean recipe pls...:nod:o_O
I loves them.

I’m going back to the Garden tonight.

I’m not ready.

At least you won't see any banners there to remind you. Everything's torn up - I was there last night. No banners, no jumbotron - just a weird jumbotron skeleton.

New balcony seats suuuuuuuuuuuuuuck, BTW. For tall people, the extra "lift" from the cushion might be nice, but I feel like Lily Tomlin in Sesame Street with my feet stretching to reach the floor:

Also, they're not nearly as spacious as that nice chair. I was wondering if I was being alarmist about crowding because they added a seat in every row. I wasn't.

But the show tonight should be fun - you won't be sitting for long!

I’m in loge tonight anyways. Be spared the new seats until opening night.

I’m a pretty average sized woman and I’m not looking forward to it. I can’t imagine what people with super wide hips or larger humans are going to do.

As long as they're not as narrow as Fenway bleacher seats, I'll be happy. Though it would still be a tight fit for my wide body. Not that we'll probably be in the Garden any time soon.

But @Kovi and I will get to see the Bruins live before any of you - they'll be in Arizona on Oct 5. We're actually seriously considering the Coyotes' Weekender package so we can watch hockey with my brother and his wife (plus...live hockey!)
