Was dispatched to London at last minute for Red Sox games - I needed to bring a replacement part for the truck

This gave me shivers

London has changed as there are now many places that sell alcohol 24 hours a day

This city makes Boston appear to be inexpensive :help:

Had my 7 year olds dance recital rehearsal tonight. 3+ hours in a humid high school that smelled like a locker room.

Having spastic hemiplegia she tends to struggle with physical activity and keeping up with other kids, but she loves dance. Well, in her “Poms” dance (it’s glorified cheerleading) she is front and center for one of the big spots in the dance, and ends the dance on top of a pyramid.

Yeah, i wept like a baby.

Baked beans for breakfast?

Baked beans are ESSENTIAL to a good breakfast!

I miss Irish breakfasts when abroad and especially when in the US as I hate eggs and all your guys breakfasts seem to revolve around eggs.

I'm just really not a fan of baked beans at any time, to be honest.

I only eat eggs if they are scrambled or hard boiled. Any type of runny eggs grosses me out.

What I really want right now is bacon. Nice, crispy/crunchy bacon.

Now I'm hungry. :(

English cooking.....sigh
Been to the UK 8 times and was always disappointed in the food, til the last time. We ate out at least twice every day for 15 days and were lucky enough to strike at least silver every time in both England and Scotland. Something changed.
