Create your own team. Trade, sign, recall, reassign, and buyout players as though you were your favourite teams general manager.www.capfriendly.com
It won't happen. But, the vibes would be immaculate.
You're worried about a $300,000 cap hit in 2023-2024 for a Bjork buyout?I'd rather ride it out and not give him a QO.
There would be no reason to create future dead cap.
Conversely, spending real dollars to acquire dis-interested do-nothing mercenaries or "talents" a la Ville Leino and Taylor Hall is a double-middle-finger to the fans.Using LTIR to go over the cap floor (again) would be unacceptable. Spend real dollars to get to the floor. If you want to get paid by Tampa to take on the LTIR after that’s fine. But using it to circumvent the cap floor is giving a middle finger to the fans (again)
You are worried about giving Anderson a bump above the minimum...The goalies don't make the correct salary. Should be:
Anderson $750,000
Subban $750,000
MAF $7.50,000M (seeing if we can slide this past the owners)

I think he was making a joke that if we made the goalies all have 750k Pegula wouldn't notice the extra 0 for FleuryYou are worried about giving Anderson a bump above the minimum...
I just don't see the point of dragging things out with Bjork. Just waive him to Rochester if you want the roster spot.
I'd better target DeBrincat then, he's an RFA and he's 24 years old, would be a good fit for our core. Although I don't want to trade Quinn anyway.
I don't have much faith in Adams being able to sign any of the better goalies in UFA. When was the last time the Sabres actually signed a UFA goalie that wasn't from the scrap heap or a career back-up?
He never has so his first will be groundbreaking.
Has the team, though? Ever? All our good goalies were drafted or acquired via trade.
You say that like he’s been the Sabres GM for a decade. He never has so his first will be groundbreaking.
I do think there's always potential in those types of guys, but it does concern me that his even strength production was on par with Hinostroza's, while playing most of his minutes with McDavid, DraisaitlI'm warming to the idea of making an offer for Puljujärvi. 24 years old, RFA, extremely snakebitten as a finisher but seems to do a great job of driving the play based on underlying numbers, and playing for a team that's gonna be in real cap trouble soon.
Career highs of 15G (covid-shortened season) and 36 points during 4 full seasons as a top-6 Oilers forward don't exactly scream "offer sheet" to me.I do think there's always potential in those types of guys, but it does concern me that his even strength production was on par with Hinostroza's, while playing most of his minutes with McDavid, Draisaitl

There seems to be a Nichushkin comparison brewing online, I think this line of thought will grow exponentially this offseason
It's interesting that he's so weak on the PP given how good Edmonton was this year. Though perhaps he wasn't out there with McDavid and Drai.
Makes sense then, he was stuck on PP2 with the sloppy seconds lolTheir main PP was McDrai/Hyman/Nuge/Dman (Bouchard or Nurse)

Those ended up being awful, but I think its a little unfair to call that type of move a middle finger to fans.
