Lohrei needs to be sheltered on the 3rd pair with a sound defensive guy ( Joker would be my choice ). Give him 1st unit PP and I think he'll be fine next year.

Where is Peeke ? He’s got a good contract and was very good on second pair in IIHF

Zadorov & Joker went very well together

I’ve got 13 guys ~ after that they start colliding with Poitras, Locmelis, Letourneau etc and more importantly I’d rather have Zacha next few years

If I’m Sweeney to trade Zacha I would go after Rossi. Zacha would be a good add for the Wild. Rossi steps right in as a excellent 2C

As for picks

I’m curious how and where they use Mittlestadt ~ he reminds me of the older Stome brother (Ryan)

He is 26 needs to get stronger ~ he’s a pass not shoot guy so he could go well with Brad if he resigns

I have basically zero interest in moving Zacha unless it's for some crazy overpay that I don't think any team is gonna be offering.

Mittelstadt I would move for a bad of pucks and a firm handshake if it meant getting his full cap hit off the books. Not a fan of that player.

One thing that I see as indisputable is Marchand would like to live in his house here with wife and 3 kids a quick ride to Warrior

I thought the 6/18.9 was dumb by the Bruins going a third year but Brad evidently didn’t

I believe he has multiple 60 point seasons in him and his addition only helps the team

My friends who in my physical world who do not like Sweeney (yes we battle) want Marchand elsewhere & Woodcroft

Because they believe that gets him fired lol

Man I want another top 15, heck even top 35 im not too greedy, but Zacha for futures only feels a bit off, no? Maybe use him towards a big fish with one of those teams instead? I like Pavel so Buffalo seems cruel lol. Anaheim would be a perfect fit and I want the Mctavvy meal.

Talking out loud here… don’t love trading impact names in division, but I’d bet money Philly would swap their #6 with our #7 and throw in their #32OA for him. Maybe you remove that 2nd pick, toss something else in with Zacha, and get Foerster too? They like him though. I’m not crazy about moving up in the draft, but maybe #6 is cost effective and Desnoyers could still be there.

Before last season, Mittlestadt had 163 takeaways and 172 giveaways. That's really pretty good.

Last season he had 19 takeaways, 80 giveaways.

Something changed big time. Hopefully it was an outlier season.

Put Kush on the 3rd line, and Lauko needs to be on the 4th. Send Poitras to Providence, unless he improves his Pee-Wee level shot during the offseason.

they(Vancouver) are light at centre I think they want zacha for their second line centre. Zacha has a high value based on term and salary cap hit. He also helps the team now compared to the draft pick they getting at 15. He has a 50-70 point 20 goal ceiling.

If the team isn’t even going to be competitive for a few years it kinda makes sense. I only want the pick because I’m a fan of Kashawn Aitcheson and there is a slim chance he is on the board. I’d rather get Seattle’s pick or Anaheims.

I’m not advocating to dump zacha for peanuts but if the bruins can get in the top 15 pick for zacha it might be worth exploring.
