Seems really early to make a decision on any prospect, but hey, if you have intel about Heidt from inside the MN team then I'm all ears. I thought he was a good pick a the very end of the 2nd, but it could be that was for a reason, and that he is a long shot to be a NHL'er. Still think they owe to themselves, and Heidt, to give him a year or two in Iowa at a minimum to develop. Dumping him this early on seems wrongheaded, to me. A guy like Conor McMichael didn't really hit his stride in the NHL till his D+6 year. Heidt just finished his D+ 2 year.
