I could see Killorn being our 2C next season if the prices for the available 2C are exorbitant.

There’s a hole there, and at the end of the day if we’re not able to do it through free agency or trade, we’ve got players on our roster that are centermen who are playing the wing, and if we have to we’ll move one of them back there and I think we’ll be okay.

again, age has nothing to do with it. Winning cups does. Do you think MSL or Selanne would have no value either? WHYZERMAN????

No. They are key pieces to winning a cup. Maybe not anything more than a 2yr deal, but if it meant overpaying 1-1.5m at a short term, I wouldnt disagree. We have the room. Salo coming off the books at the end of this year and probably not resigning, it makes an improvement. A cup winning dman in either Ference or Scuderi for a brittle Sami Salo.

Thats what I and others said earlier. Seems to be the most reasonable thing to do. Adding Ference or Scuderi would have been awesome, but if we're going to get a top 2/4 dman, its through trade.
