Mark McNeill is a big one that sticks out at me, a ton of Blackhawks fans and media hyped this guy when he was drafted.

Yeah Grabner.
He scored 34 goals for the isles in 2010-2011 after being claimed
Isles got Osgood from Detroit on waivers way back. Then so stupid they trade him later for Papineau.

Probably one of Rattie or Paajarvi from the Blues. Which one depends on the camp they have. If they add another forward in a Shattenkirk trade without sending one back, then add Upshall to the list and 2 of the 3 go down.

Not counting the players on 2 way contracts who would play in the AHL

Buffalo has a bunch of kids who are waiver exempt. They don't have many players who finished their ELCs and get resigned then sent to the AHZl ( thus needing to clear waivers).

Catenacci is one of these players. Derek grant, Justin Faulk are some others.

If they make a trade and bring in more vets on Defense then possibly they could send someone down and expose them. Someone like Fransn could be exposed or if as part of a trade for Fowler they were willing to take Stoner back thus exposing him. This is highly unlikely.

Possibly Fs Matt Nieto or Melker Karlsson on the Sharks. Outside possibility of d-men Demelo or Dillon if Heed looks good. It depends on how rookie camp and training camp go. One or more might be packaged in a trade as well.

Nope. Feaster traded for him the day after he cleared waivers. I'd still be upset about this but we got a 2nd, Pollack, and Jokipakka for the 5th round pick we gave up.

Outside chance Nick Cousins of the Flyers hits waivers if he has a poor camp and slow start. Doubtful but you never know.

I doubt Nick Cousins hits waivers. If he doesnt make the team which i dont see why he wouldnt looks promising as a bottom 6 forward but if he didnt make the team i think they would trade him and find a taker . Hech im wishing if they are to move him that Hexy being close with Dean plays a role and we send over King or Clifford with maybe a + if needed .

For Columbus, Scott Harrington(but if he gets claimed they get a 5th round draft pick from Toronto because of the Rychel trade). But if he beats out Cody Goloubef then he would have to be on waivers. Odds of both making the team is unlikely. Odds of both being on waivers. Unlikely but if both have poor camps and Kukan does well then who knows. Not sure if they want to risk losing both players. Not sure if Kukan is waiver eligible. As for forwards, not sure.

Jokinen was not picked up off waivers, but was traded after he cleared. This has happened to him twice TB to CAR and CAR to PIT.
