It’s the system. Players need to improve but I’ve seen worse teams defend far better than this. Think of the Guy Boucher Sens for example. Karlsson, Ceci, Wideman, Phaneuf. Just garbage.

Agreed. It happens to all coaches at some point. Often in Year 3 their message gets old. I don't think he ever was a strong tactician but up until this season his motivational abilities compensated for some of that.
