Finland
Four previous World Championship meetings between Finland and Austria have occurred in Finland: 2003, 2013, 2022 and 2023.

Austria has been on top level also in 2004, 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2015, 2018 and 2019 but in each time in different group as Finland. First five years were when there were four groups of four followed by six-team second stage or four-team relegation round.

The last time two teams met somewhere else was in 2002 in Sweden.

Canada is the country with the most gold medals (28) in the IIHF World Championship.
Sweden is the country with the most silver medals (19) in the IIHF World Championship.
Czechoslovakia/Czechia is the country with the most bronze medals (22) in the IIHF World Championship.

There is only one tournament where each of those countries achieved a medal of that colour, in 1997.

Kelowna, B.C.
When Canada has trailed in the 3rd Period of elimination games since 2017, they have 6 wins, 2 losses in regulation time, 3 losses in OT or a shootout.
When trailing by 2 or more goals in elimination games since 2017, they've tied the score in 4 of the 6 games:
2017 W Russia (4-2)
2018 L Switzerland (2-3)
2019 L Finland (1-3)
2022 W Sweden (4-3 OT)
2022 L Finland (3-4 OT)
2024 L Switzerland (2-3 SO)

At the other end of the spectrum:
When trailing in the 3rd period of elimination games at the World Championships & Olympics since 1992, Switzerland is 0-19-0

Nope. I mean a team that did not lose at all in the entire history of the tournament. By the way, this is a bit of a trick question.

WC or WJ?

If it is JR--it is not a trick question you are splitting hairs because of the fight
