LOVE that miller went straight to the net once he was we had possession, rather then skate behind the net and start the unsuccesful cycle

why the **** can this team not come out playing like that from the start:rant:

You know, they are really trying, and they dominated the period. But the complete lack of any kind of finish makes every second the Devils spend in our zone far more dangerous than all the time we spend in theirs.

The good news: Millers play and a very good second period.

The bad news: So many scoring chances where they either miss the net, hold on to the puck for too long, or shoot the puck right into the goalies chest.

Miller is really impressing me beyond what I ever expected. He looks more ready than Kreider. He looks more ready than Hagelin. He looks great. Thought he buried that tip in front. He could easily have 2-3 points tonight so far. That's impressive. I'm really, truly, surprised.

Agreed. Very confident, doesn't look scared.

Ugh, not an enjoyable game to watch.

I'm guess I'm watching a different game than Sam and Joe because I don't see domination. Domination includes a frequency of quality scoring chances.

We look flat. If we get shut out, will this be the 2nd time in 3 games?

Scott Gomeziritis.

So far i dont like the nash trade. Nash hasnt been bad by i expeced more production. i mean we lost chemistry and depth losing dubi and artie. also the first round pick might be better than i originally imagined in july

All anyone had to do was watch him in the WJC and know this kid would be ready to play in the pros.

I am so sick of this 'we don't want to rush him' *****-whipped mentality.

If a kid can play hockey at this level, it doesn't matter what his age is. Leave this kid here if he continues playing like this, this is how stars are developed and made.

Shame we couldnt pot one there because we looked much better in 2nd period. Need to come out strong in 3rd.
