I mean Day had like one good AHL season after we moved on. Otherwise he sucked. Walcott was traded after playing one game with Hartford, hard to say Tampa "got more" out of him. Raddysh, sure.

Anyway, Korczak had opportunities to play a bigger role over the last couple of years. Maybe not prolonged opportunities but it wasn't like he was a forgotten man. Other guys, young and old, at the wings and at C have played better than him. I mean this year Roobroeck has looked more effective even when he's not scoring and he's a mid-tier prospect straight out of junior hockey.

There was a long period where I really didn't like the way we were handling the young guys in Hartford but the last couple years, I've had no complaints. Maybe he does better in the Tampa organization, but I don't think he was mishandled or anything here which is what you seem to be implying.

EDIT: My one complaint would be that they don't play Garand enough this season.

Just talking that they actually made it to the NHL. Nothing more.

To Sean Day's credit, he managed to play in 2 NHL games which is 2 more than most of the players involved in these types of trade. Combined!
