Nylander almost fits better on our third line driving a line with a guy like Kerfoot. We could use another top 6 winger for Tavares. Nylander doesn't work well being a support player he likes to hold the puck

Matthews Ritchie line isn't producing, stop f***ing playing them together. They don't score together... EVER.... EVERRR

Yup, Nylander with Kerfoot on the third line would be great. Ideal usage against weaker opposition, he’ll be able to feast

I wonder what forwards will be available at the deadline
 
We are so much more richer and talented team than that other club is sire. They ain't good skating wise... offensively. We harder too. They scared. Passive. We THUGS. :clap:
 
I think the reason Tavares’ passes get picked off so often is because he is so predictable.
You know where he’s going to send the puck before he even does it.

One of the most disappointing things about the fanbase is the lack of appreciation for all that Freddy did for this franchise.

Leafs give up 7 shots in a period and the only big scoring chance Campbell actually created because he played the point shot poorly and people are going insane over Campbell. A blocker save should never go right into the slot and he chased it to boot putting him way out of position.

If this was Freddy people would be all over him for that rebound, saying he was lucky that Gauthier put it in his chest while jack was all the way back on the goal line and be calling him out for that shot that went through the 5 hole and luckily went wide.

Nah Andersen was blamed for letting in clear shots right through his five hole all the time. "First shot Andersen" was a thing for awhile and it wasn't for his rebound control. His problem is that he didn't make the first save.

Campbell doing his thing.
Rielly had a good defensive period, I think he's enjoying the PK responsibilities he's getting.
Watching Matthews dance in the O zone can be fun.
Kamph line is solid.
Simmonds, heck of an effort lad.
Tavares/Nylander, meh.
Impressive, Sandin and Dermott.

When Marner joins a line they start getting good scoring chances.
When he leaves a line they stop.
He is the straw that stirs the drink.
