I don't know if we can. This is pretty much what 7D's are, especially in the poverty era where you have to spend the minimum on depth.

He's a 7th defenseman who doesn't completely suck at everything.

Like for all the things to complain about... this isn't one of them. If we want to complain, we should complain that he's probably better than 2 of the guys in the top 4.

I think it can be. The 7 you carry, a AAAA/7th guy, an AHL lifer (harpur), and a kid (mancini or Scanlin, probably not both.)

Just sign an 8th.
