Should have just offered the Capitals a third round pick if they didn't dress Wilson for any of the games against the Rangers. It would have been cheaper and not taken a roster spot.

Why didn't they watch him for half a season before deciding this? You don't know how he fits in your lineup or if a 35/36 year old goon is going to be able to keep going. His legs have already given up on him

Reaves can take regular shifts. He’s actually a pretty effective forechecker and can cycle decently down low.
1.75M. Lol. How are the Rangers going to overcome that! That’s over 2% of the teams cap!

Ryan Reaves is a f***ing beauty.
He brings a lot more on and off the ice than punching faces (although he is very good at that). Everyone will make jokes, but he’s worth every penny.

This is the craziest over-exaggeration I've seen in quite some time. Their biggest signing this off-season cost 3.6 million per year and fills a need that was probably the reason we missed the playoffs last year.
