Nash has been getting double teamed and cross checked all night long. I agree he isn't playing well but what do you expect the guy to do?

That'll happen with lack of depth.

This. And he does it way too often.

Inconsistent is the best way to describe the guy. When he's on he's dynamic. When he's off, he's a liability.

Problem is he's been off for two of the most important games of the season now.

Torts should be forbidden from benching players.

Some players **** up once, they get benched or sent to the minors the next day. Others players **** up a handful of times and Torts rewards them with more minutes.

Nash has slid into the Gaborik spot. The bench when we need goals. Torts had Jody Shelley, Brian Boyle and Brandon Prust ahead of Gaborik.

This is the same thing as Gaborik all over again...It doesn't matter that Nash has had a bad game or bad few games...he is by far our best offensive threat and not having him out on the top unit getting the most time on the powerplay is only going to to help us lose the game.

and people were wondering what Nash (the only scoring threat) would look like without gaborik. yeah, 5 players will be all over him every game.

If I'm him, I'm fed up with the face he's given the media. I listen to all of these other coaches during post game and none of them act as childish as he does.

I prefer if my coaches actually do this weird thing and answer the questions.

Step 2: Put Dan Girardi on
Step 3: Stop everyone at the opposition blue line
Step 4: Get Girardi to dump and chase all by himself
You put out a non-PP shutdown D man who blocks shots and he is in deep 200 feet away chasing after a puck that's going to be on opposition stick 2/3 times?
Step 5: Switch Stepan with Richards because damn that Derek Stepan for being our best player this year.

putting nash on the ice, even if he is struggling, has a potential for scoring. torts hates offense. boyle and girardi were his go to guys to make sure the PP was as ineffective as possible. boyle goes down. torts's favorite star player gets more ice time.

This is a statement by the rangers that they want a coaching change. They aren't playing hard they have no idea who is on their line one shift to the next or wtf he wants. When a team severely lacks effort and underachieves it's on the coach.
