GDT: NYR @ PHI Part II

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Going to agree with BB here. Nash has been pretty ****ing terribad.

Nash has been terrible.

But I'll take my chances with him over Callahan, who has also been terrible, and Girardi, who is a blackhole offensively.

Legitimately hard to watch tonight.

Have a lot of problems with this team right now, biting my tongue as to avoid a rant. But for real, this is how you fight for points at the end of the season? This is all too much of a comfort zone for the Rangers.

I wanna see a completely different team in the third.

Can't blame Tortorella...His favorite do nothing 20 minute a game forward is hurt. Tortorella can't figure out who to put on the ice.

And, no breaks tonight from other teams.

I know it's probably a very unpopular thing to say, but Ottawa probably got the biggest break of the season by not playing last night. That might be enough to keep them in the playoffs.
 
You don't bench your best player in a situation where you have to score and you're on a power play down 2 goals to start a power play with the top unit out. Any objections to this?

Look noticeable would be a start. It's not that he isn't scoring, it's that he is showing off his best Pyatt impression.

yes I object, clearly need more Richards on the PP
 
This is the same thing as Gaborik all over again...It doesn't matter that Nash has had a bad game or bad few games...he is by far our best offensive threat and not having him out on the top unit getting the most time on the powerplay is only going to to help us lose the game.
