Pre-Game Talk: NYR HF Meet & Drink: Today is the day!

wherever it would be easiest to get a spot for a large group of people on a game night, is my vote. I'm honestly not too familiar with any of the bars in the poll.

I'll be the one who looks like a lost child in an oversized hockey jersey :laugh:

I voted Stout. I like Tailor Public House too. Open to suggestions though. Tailor has a pretty big upstairs that’s rarely full and a good sized bar area. Last time we just stood near the bar but it was a week night and there were only 4-5 of us. I personally like staying near the bar because I’d rather just order drinks and snacks when I feel like it and not wait on one server for everyone.

I’d aim for like a 5:30-6pm arrival.

I’m cool with those. Actually getting tired of Haymaker. Was there for comic con and my last Rangers game. Time to change it up lol.

Im just curious. For the game is the plan to sit togeather? Or do we get all tickets seperatly? Sorry if its been answered, ill go scroll through the thread

Yeah we’re all just going to hang together during a game, at a bar near the Garden. Just a chance for as many of us as possible to get to meet in person, have a few drinks, watch a game together.

I’m actually leaning Tailor Public House because I just remembered that upstairs they also have a whole back area with an additional bar and more tv’s and on a Saturday night it should be open but not too full.

Im down for any of these bars. Whatever everyone feels is best is good with me

Me Either. I propose the place with the best chicken wings and pizza. Alcohol is alcohol.

I'll be the one who looks out of place.

I hope someone reminds us of this event a day or two before. I totally forgot last time. Put up a sticky or something.

I am a huge believer in free for calories purposes only. But wings are not for calories....
 
We should set up these get-together a overseas too. Of course there are no rangers bars but maybe, the corner of a pub, a bunch of iPads and nhl.tv subscriptions

Over Covid we had free lunch at the office so we didn’t have to face the deadly crowds at local restaurants. I was into it for a bit but by the end I just had to spend the ten bucks for my sanity and taste.
