The Leafs haven't picked a lot of Americans since he was named Director of U.S. Scouting. Keep in mind he was in the smaller office. Canadian teams don't like to pick college players because if they're good they just wait four years and sign with the Rangers.
And the seats behind him purchased but left empty. Can't have anyone accidentally kick his seat. The good news is they'll give him priority boarding on his flight.
Wheel him right up to his seat...
Do you ever tell us good news anymore or just 'piss in our cornflakes' stuff???The Leafs have drafted one player since 2007, outside of the top 10, who has played more than 400 NHL games.
He brings truculence.Burke talks about how Lilley almost fought Yakapov after his interview
I’m just going to assume that he got the job because he has connections to BU and go along with my day. Don’t even know if he went there, just assuming that he did.
New York TerriersFrom wiki:
"John E. Lilley (born August 3, 1972 in Wakefield, Massachusetts) is a retired American professional ice hockey player. After graduating from Cushing Academy, where he set a new scoring record, he played college hockey for Boston University.[1]"
This is starting to get annoying tbh.
And you've been slacking lately, hence this hire. It's what I bring here

I'm nervous but this but in all fairness, it's harsh to judge picks "outside the top 10" by a team that has disproportionately picked top 10.

I have more than a feeling this is true. Probably gets some peace of mind out of it. AmandaChris Drury is incapable of working with anyone who doesn’t have some sort of ties to Boston

Think he meant the city. Can find no evidence of Lilley being in a band.I have more than a feeling this is true. Probably gets some peace of mind out of it. Amanda
They are all Boston songs
