GDT: NYR @ EDM - Sept 24th

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. I'll go, but someone else has to come with to play the part of the hunter guy who gets ambushed by velociraptors so that I can survive.
 
I'll do it. At this point I'd rather be eaten by velociraptors than see any more talk about Stepan's negotiations or Brad Richards
 
Im just glad richards isnt playing. My lord he looks bad. Brassard has been on fire. Im glad all the kids are playing. Miller makes his debut

I'm sure I'm in the minority on this one, but I think Asham has honestly looked like one of the better/consistent players this preseason.

In my mind I think AV has an idea of what he wants as a number one and two line... and Kreider appears to maybe not be in those any more. The Brassard line I thought was very good against Philly the other night and I think they will remain intact and I think he is going to experiment with Richards and Nash on a line together, but Kreider may not be on that other wing.... total speculation ofcourse. In tonights game I think Kreider really needs to show more than he has so far.

I think there will be a few cuts made probably tomorrow and the rangers will play the last two preseason games with what they are probably going to start the season with
 
Liking tonights lineup. Definitely looking forward to the Hrivik-Lindberg-Kristo line, and the Kreider-Miller pairing.

I think richards is the weakest link on that line. nash and kreider seem to have good chmeistry. they need stepan or brassard. its a shame what happned to richards but stepan and brassard can pass the puck to the wingers
 
I'm excited to see J.T. play, he always plays with supreme confidence even if it gets him into trouble.

At least he is constantly noticeable on the ice.

I actually agree with this. Richards/Nash combo just isn't going to work, IMO, it was a bust last season, and so far, it's looking like a bust this preseason. Those two need Stepan between 'em.
