Hopefully this isn't some type of Jurassic park scenario where the system comes back online with no mods. The horror. Gonna have to nominate someone to flip the switch manually in the remote bunker.

Eh. He's coming off an injury plagued camp, so I'm sure it's just a quick test before he goes to Hartford. With the way Kreider has been outplayed by other kids, I wouldn't be surprised to see that whole line end up with the Whale.

I def. want to see Kreider + Miller, but I'd like to see that pair with Fast.

So on the rare occurrence that Richards isn't in the lineup there won't even be a gdt to go in to see people ***** about his play... The irony

This line up is a lot more balanced. What I think AV is doing is like making some sort of bread or pastry. You have in one bowl some of the ingredients mixing and in another, are all the dry ingredients that need to be balanced and added carefully. Once that blend of dry ingredients is at the right proportions, the dry will be added to the wet.

Squad #1 is the one from last night with K-R-N and 75% non-NHL players. I think AV knows now what he can remove from that lineup and by the VAN game on Thurs, I think he'll be ready to combine the ingredients, and some more adjustments after the VAN game leading up to game #1.

I'd have to imagine he will want to put his best foot forward for the Vancouver game. I'm pretty sure some players are going to be finished their play in NYR jerseys for the season by the end of tonight's game.

Our team NEEDS A LOT of timing and fine tuning, chemistry work, and playing as a balanced lineup. Players need to start slotting into their roles and getting used to it. You need at least 2 games for that. Another reason why Stepan is being an idiot. Missing out on the formalizing of the lines is not helping ANYONE except maybe Lindberg and DM.

I know I said Bye Bye Bickel but Bickel is never really gone. At some point, his toughness will make him reappear in our lineup.

AHHHHhhh I can see it now, Bickel minors and fights during a PO game.
