I actually got to watch this one today and I wish I didn't. What did we have today?

- Two gimmie goals and we still lose by 3. Is this really us looking good? Trying? Or the Caps shitting the bed to make the game interesting?

- Our best forward by a mile is still in Fil is still sitting on the bench during the extra man.

- Fans still think we played well have two gimmie goals by the Caps. Maybe three, but there are coaches out there who know how to challenge well, unlike Lavi.

- I saw Snowblind complain about the goalies in the GDT. Same 'ol. At this rare, the goalies are going to have to steal every game now until they're retired for us to get wins

- Miller, Lindgren, BoringBorgan need to be scratched.

- Did Laf play this game???

the game was entertaining. Lots of goals. Plenty of mistakes on both sides. Feelings ranging from "never watching hockey again" (offside show) to "oh we scored"

I won't say they didn't try, but some guys are gripping the stick so hard right now.

Hasn’t been their year for 83 of the last 84
You know what I mean, to be competitive and a deep playoff run. You can make the same argument for the Capitals who despite some really good teams since the 80s, won a Cup definitely without their best lineup, and their other SCF appearance in 1998 was as "that wild and crazy low seed team".

Nothing. This team isn't a JT Miller away from contending

100 point forward would help a team that can't score imo. But you're right. Any change to the room needs to come with 2 more lefty defenseman who arent soft munchkins like Miller, Lindgren and Jones.

How about we all just hope that Drury can somehow figure out how to replace and entire D corp in an offseason!

Last thing Drury should be doing is aquiring 30+ year old players with massive contracts. We need to get younger and change the entire landscape of this team

Nice, now we get to watch our prospect who isn’t even going to sign with us play in the WJC semi-finals in a few hours.

They had their best season in franchise history last year and just signed a 29 year old goalie to an 8 year NMC. Idk why I have to keep being the bad guy and telling people they arent going for a rebuild. They'll trade vets in hockey trades but they arent tanking and they'll be in it to win the Cup next year.

So… who on the team do we still like? Cuylle and Fil? Maybe Vinnie?

Can we start getting performance clauses in contracts to balance out the NMC/NTCs? You get an NMC, but if you aren’t in the gym 4 days per week in the off season, it’s cancelled, Adam.

This wedding shower was dumb. At least it was climate controlled.

As for the comparison I saw earlier to the Giants, it’s a lot easier to tolerate bad tweener seasons when you actually win championships during the times when you’re good.
