An hour and a half later and I'm still sitting here like

I dunno thats what Freidman said.
RB or AK, Help.
They're about to sign Trouba for 7-8 years at a big number. So, you're suggesting they're going to be moving Fox? There isn't enough money (or ice time) for all three in the long-term...Maybe..but if ADA starts racking up 50 point seasons, along with good defensive play and physical toughness...they will move someone else.
I think if they didn’t trade for him, they could talk on July 1 because he’s an RFA, and it would be like offer sheet contract talking, but now that the Rangers have his rights they can talk to him right nowI dunno thats what Freidman said.
RB or AK, Help.
I think that's for players who are entering into the last year of their contract?I thought they weren't allowed to discuss numbers with Trouba until July 1?
Did Philly sign Hayes? There is a possibility, all be it silm that Hayes re-signs with the Rangers. When you look at this whole thing a certain way...
Rental Hayes for Rental Trouba
Pionk for Lemieux
You would obviously know better, but I just have such a hard time comprehending that Shattenkirk can only be moved for another bad contract or bought outFollowing the Trouba deal, if the Rangers have a FWD contract they can lineup with Shatty, I think they’d also take that into account.
2. Move Shatty for a similar contract on the wings.
Not that I want him to do anything of this nature, but this made me laugh
Meaning, you believe the Rangers want the deal done ASAP before the try to sign Panarin?
What team out there would trade for Shattenkirk?
It has to be a team that doesn't have a full roster of defensemen today... with cap space... needs powerplay help.
Big money, down past year and half, knee injury, not held in high esteem around the league even before he was a RangerYou would obviously know better, but I just have such a hard time comprehending that Shattenkirk can only be moved for another bad contract or bought out
Cool! Thanks, Edge.I think they want to hedge again the uncertainty of Panarin.
I think the Rangers emerged feeling much more confident about their ability to get Trouba in house (and eventually) under contract.
I still think they’d love to move Kreider, ideally for a kid they like in the draft, and apply Kreider’s salary toward what they’d pay Panarin. I just think there’s more moving parts there.
More than happy with any of the five "other" centers.Yeah so hard to say. I would love to say Zegras but he may not be there at 8.
You wouldn't do that trade?
Perry with a lil somethin extra (for saving an internal cap team some money) for ShattenkirkAnaheim. Perry.

well if Trouba and Fox play and play well I think our dreams of landing Lafreniere go up in smoke.
Still probably not a playoff team but we can't be a bottom 7-8 team
Wasn’t it supposed to be nylander sandin and a first lmao awful returnhayes and pionk for lemieux and trouba um yeah
You wouldn't do that trade?
Why? To make the club more desirable to Panarin? Not following the logic...Wouldn’t surprise me at all. I think they know what the price is, and I honestly think they aren’t even blinking in that regard.
This is the type of deal where it’s definitely easier to be the Rangers than it is someone like Carolina.
On that same note, I am also getting responses with the Rangers thinking that Florida might make a move to get a negotiation window with Panarin. Which leads me to believe this was a deal the Rangers wanted DONE now.
You wouldn't do that trade?
Holds a press conference, just walks up to the mic and chuckles a bit and then says "no questions actually, see you all Friday" and walks offGorton needs to hold a press conference tomorrow to just gloat, professionally of course. But gloat nonetheless
