that's your opinion. Which is fine. I wouldn't trade Nylander for him because I believe nylander is better. That's my opinion. So I guess there is nothing left to discuss.
That move will haunt Nylander for ever....No interest moving Pelech for the gutless wonder.
I'd rather lose in round one than not make it. Also leafs would never consider moving nylander for a d man, they don't need.Pelech is a top 5 shutdown defenseman in the league, but have fun losing in the first round again. Isles would never consider Pelech for Nylander.
Its not like the Islanders haven't made it before LOL.I'd rather lose in round one than not make it. Also leafs would never consider moving nylander for a d man, they don't need.
I'm fairly certain ever team has made the playoffs before. So...yeah. What I said applied to this year...LMFAOIts not like the Islanders haven't made it before LOL.

With Trotz gone the islanders have no style. I’m sure there will be a system built around Barzals speed and skillNylander is too soft for the Isles style of play. He wouldn’t be a good fit.
Letting Campbell walk would be a mistake. He was excellent this series and it seems like his midseason struggles was really caused by his injury. I wouldn't be surprised if Gio resigns for cheap. He was a good team leader and mentor for LiljegrenI’m all about Toronto running it back next year with the exact same team minus the middle six forward depth, Giordano and Campbell. Go for it. Bound to happen eventually, even with less talent on the ice.
Meh, winning one, two, or zero, it's not the cup.So it's all the same. Nice try tho!Maybe if you ask nicely, their fans will tell you how it feels to win a round.
Lol absolutely not. Dobson is on his way to being the isles best player. 22 year old two way defensemen that put up 50+ points dont grow on trees.Something around Nylander and Dobson makes more sense

*hangs up phone*Counter: Mayfield + pick for Nylander
NYI only has one quality left shot D, Pelech is the definition of untouchable.

That’s fair, my proposal wasn’t very serious. It was more of a tongue-in-cheek proposal after seeing the Pelech/Nylander suggestion when NYI has lost two top four LHD over the last two years and needs to add one, not subtract their only one…just a completely tone deaf proposal in my opinion and borderline insulting. This would be a dream come true. Pelech is awesome. If I was Lou, there is no way I consider this.
As much as I think Toronto rips off NYI getting Pelech, I think NYI rips off Toronto in your deal. Mayfield has shown he can be a good top 4 D, but after last season, I don't think his stock is as high as it once was. Also, his excellent contract is running out, and his next one will be a prime overpay situation.
It's not about who's better, is it? It's about what you view better and more important to your team. If it's Pelech, then yeah, giving up who you might feel is a better player is really irrelevant. If it's Nylander, then obviously that's an easy decision not to make.that's your opinion. Which is fine. I wouldn't trade Nylander for him because I believe nylander is better. That's my opinion. Getting back on a more serious note, I think NYI could be interested in Muzzin for a second pairing role if TOR was shopping him.
They wouldn’t pay much…maybe Bellows and a 2nd/3rd, but if TOR really wants cap space it may make some sense for them.
