He still managed to be the best scorer for the Wild in the playoffs.I know Wild fans can't help to diminish ZP, and justifiably so, he is on the decline.
Parise scores 20 with consistent pp time, which they'd be foolish not to give him.
totally worked out for us, I believe the rumor at the time was Parise and Koivu for Ladd, Bellows picks. There was obviously more involved but Koivu didn't waive.Lou might sanction a hit in Parise for these comments. Lol
Zach Parise discusses past with Wild, future with New York Islanders
Parise also confirms 100% that there was a deal in place at the deadline for him to come to the isles a few years ago. Parise waived to come to the isles at that time.

We then got JGP!
I know Wild fans can't help to diminish ZP, and justifiably so, he is on the decline. That said, I'm intrigued to see what he can do motivated, playing on the 3rd line with JGP and Wahlstrom or Palms. Him and JGP will be worker bee's, much like Casey Cizikas.

Doubtful. 3rd line LW is his job, probably 2nd PP as well. Playing with JGP and either Wahlstrom or PalmieriPTO?
PTO?
No. He was signed months ago lol, this is just it finally coming out.PTO?

Refer to below, wont be surprised with 40+ pts at all, if he gets good linemates and PP time, if.You have much higher expectations for Parise then I do. If he scores 10-12 goals and plays solid D, I will be satisfied.
hes still good with the right linemates, wish him the best
Kind of funny that the Islanders wouldn't publish it so nhl.com themselves put out a release. They pretty much never do that for FA signings
