In a way, I'm glad Lundqvist is seeing this rebuild through. I wouldn't want to bring Shestyorkin over just yet to face 50 shots on a nightly basis.

I'd like to add I don't think it's good for a team of rookies to be a punching bag and losing by a lot. It's better if Lundqvist keeps it close.

I wouldn't act as though this a certainty, myself. Sports can be weird like that. In general, though, I'd agree with this. We got a long road ahead of us, most likely.
