Reaves was totally washed when Vegas decided not to resign him a few years ago, and had actually retired to run his local bar, but then Gallant wanted "senior leadership" for the Rangers and the saga continued.

Reaves would still be an enforcer, but for the sad fact that he's now way too slow to actually catch anybody but a goalie.

This is a disaster. Without his hulking presence, liberties will be taken with all the Leafs' immensely talented forwards. He was the only nuclear deterrent keeping order from chaos. The weak wil be high-sticked and speared with impunity.

The Stanley Cup, once a certainty, will now disappear over the horizon.

Love reavo in his prime. Sad to see he wasn't able to turn the clock back in Toronto but he had his moments.

The leafs have to be one of the most docile teams in the league though. Knies had to go fight his own fight last night, which I love. But there is no one else on this roster that would have fought whitecloud outside of Reaves.

Oliver in Columbus is incredibly effective. I don't like the $3M a year he just got but he's a modern day enforcer. Leafs need to find one.
