In all seriousness. The Kings defense needs to be better against the Rags. Also Quick vs Henrik will be a battle. I'm confident Quick can shake off the last couple rounds where he wasn't very Quick like. Should be a great series and hopefully the guys get some rest and revamp.

It depends on if the Rags try to take out Quick with dirty play early on. If we play a heads up series without any suspensions for dirty play then I love our chances.

I can't WAIT for a chance to beat the Rags.

It won't be as easy as many seem to think but I can't wait to find out.

GO GET EM BOYS!!!!!

Being a Habs fan as well and I had watched the last series, I think a lot of people are underestimating the Rangers, they play very well defensively, especially McDonaugh and Girardi, their blue line won't be as open as the Hawks'. Kreider and Hagelin are fast and very dangerous on the PK, they can cause troubles to Mitchell, Greene and Voynov. Hank only sucks at the Bell Center. Quick has to play MUCH better.

For the love of God, St-Louis needs to be hit every time he's on the ice, take him off his game, he's the leader of the Rags, I thought he was wearing a no-contact jersey against the Habs.

Do not take them lightly, they're in the finals for a reason.

Goalie tending battle is gonna be intense but we have the edge in better centers.

I really don't know how far this will go and my heart really can't take another game 7

Take yourselves back to April 2012 and imagine someone telling you we'd be In the Finals TWICE in the next 3 years, with a Cup under our belts and a WCF appearance in between. This are the good years, Kings fans.

Bold prediction: if we win this one, we win another within 3 years.

We got to the finals with a below average Quick. Just think if everything stayed the same, and Quick upped his game...

Having said that, I don't underestimate the Rangers defense and Lundy. They're pretty badass. We just need to squash the MSL, and his cinderella ending.

David Vs. Goliath.

I just want that second one this season. I waited 45 years for the first one...but yet, I'm still greedy.

Going to be much tougher than some think. What the Rangers lack in center depth and pure offensive skill, they make up for in team speed, a stifling defense, and one of the best goalies in the world. Goals will be much harder to come by, and Quick and the defense will need to be much better because coming back from multiple goals down won't be nearly as easy. I think Lundqvist steals two games, but we win in seven.

Thanks...I wish you guys would have beat them. I was at Game 3 vs Les Canadiens
in 1993 and was in the first row above the tunnel at the Fabulous Forum...the side where Leclair scored the game winner vs Hrudey. Was so bummed. I bet you wish McDonaugh was not dealt for Gomez. Oh well. Kreider is dangerous and St Louis must
be handled physically, for sure. Will be weird to see Brian Boyle against us.

Quick and the defense NEEDS to step up. Lundqvist isn't gonna play like Crawford, I doubt we'll see many games with four+ goals. Rangers have ELITE speed, like probably the fastest team in the league, solid defense and the Kings must be exhausted from playing this much hockey. What we have though is forward depth, grit, experience and a never say die attitude.

Not gonna be an easy road no matter what.

I possibly didn't say that right. I meant that I believe IF we win this one we will take another within 3. That confidence they would have after two would make us unstoppable. Not looking past NY at all. Want to enjoy tonight before I worry about the next round of competition though. My heart deserves some rest! ;)

The weakest offense in the playoffs yet. Thank god. The Hawks gave me nightmares.

I still remember the overwhelming favorite Wings getting rolled by the Devils. Anything can happen, but maybe the Kings will welcome a more tight checking series. They just stared down the 2 best scoring teams in the league and the Sharks were top 5. I just hope the boys haven't forgotten how to play to their strengths for a series instead of beating teams at their own games.

At least, Gaborik is playing much better than Nash, the guy has been floating all playoffs long. The Rags' 4th line helped killed the Habs, Moore has speed and Boyle knows how to use his size to his advantage. Pouliot can also be a threat offensively, but he takes a lot of stupid penalties.
