Desharnais should be on the fourth line and Briere centering Pacio and Bourque, I guess a shootout goal makes up for being totally useless during the games.

What has Desharnais done to earn the 3rd center spot over Briere? Didn't Briere say he met with Therrien and Bergevin before being signed? Clearly they didn't tell him he'd be playing on the 4th line on a healthy roster. And clearly he wasn't signed for 4m to play on the 4th line. Right? ....Right?
I used to post there under the same name but the site is utter crap now. Half the time you get error message and wouldn't load. I went there the other day and the new one makes it hilariously ineffective to navigate.

Desharnais could impregnate Therrien's 13 year old daughter (not literally, I have no idea if he even has a daughter) and still get the 2 biggest wingers on the team. Somewhere along the lines someone in management or the coaching staff has to stand up and say enough is enough.

Some of MT's recent decisions are mind-boggling. I can only hope they are part of a bigger plan, like he's showcasing DD for a trade, or playing Cube to help transition Emelin in, etc.
Lundqvist is notoriously porous in Montreal so Desharnais might score but it will need to be a Luongo special from centre ice I think!

this doesn't surprise me - Briere saw a lot of fourth line minutes last game and was effective..Therrien is going to play that fourth line a lot, and they may even score a goal or two matched up against New York's fourth line. I expect the lines to be rolled now that most are healthy again, especially with Emelin back too.
Bournival has looked a like he's let complacency set in just a tiny bit the past few games, not a bad plan to "demote" him for a game, especially since that line will likely see a lot of ice time anyway. Playing with a dangerous Briere, who Bournival probably idolized growing up..isn't the worst lot in life.
