Bouillon isn't nearly as bad as most posters here seem to think, and would be great as #6. The problem is his PP time, but at this point he's almost better than Georges... and Murray isn't any better either. I would play Murray against the big teams but otherwise Bouillon should play.

Gorges is third in the league among defensemen in blocked shots (Diaz is fourth by the way) and he's far more effective than Francis "-10" Bouillon.

Just read the headline on RDS and the reactions here : ARG ! Stupid Bouillon de merde ! At least Murray cleans the front of the net and throws devastating hits. However, I'm glad to see Emelin back on the ice.

Positioning: Draw
Defense: Draw
Offense: Draw
Size: Murray
Toughness: Murray
Speed: Bouillon

They're pretty much the same. Murray would be useful against the Leafs or Bruins and while he doesn't produce offensively (as does Bouillon), he's better at clearing the crease and equal at defensive positioning.

Defense: Draw
Offense: Draw
Size: Murray
Toughness: Murray
Speed: Bouillon
Hitting: Murray
Shot blocking: Murray
Fighting: Murray

On a soft defence on an undersized team these categories make a difference. Also do we really want a 5'7" guy to pair up with the shy boy Raphael?

I hope tonight is the exception because Emelin is returning and MT wants BouBou's familiarity and versatility in the lineup. Because we were supposed to get bigger and meaner, having Murray and Parros in the pressbox does not make us bigger or meaner.

Go Habs Go !

Bigger and meaner mean nothing when you're getting dumber and worse. The point is to win hockey games. Not assuage the insecurities of a bunch of fans.

Why do you say getting bigger and meaner has anything to do with assuaging the insecurities of a bunch of fans?

Why do you suggest Murray and Parros are dumb?

We drafted big guys in July and signed big and mean guys over the summer. I though this was because we play in the most physical division in the NHL.

Boullion is better than Murray tbh

Overall its pretty close, however our defence is weak as **** and needs someone with size who can clear the front of the net... which is why Murray should be playing over Bouillon.

One of Tinordi, Beaulieu or even Pateryn should be in the lineup over both though, rather let the kids play and make mistakes than two old plugs.

This. No way Bouillon should be playing ahead of Murray. Therrien:shakehead

Boullion should play vs speedy forward teams and Murray vs big forward teams. Tonight should have been Murray.

Pejorative Slured is about all that I can say when it comes to coaching and management.

Murray should be in, and I best start seeing all the tougher guys in as well way more often soon.

This softness we've displayed for years needs to be done with.

Wherever I'm standing atm
Although the rangers are on a roll, we usually handle them very well. Very well as in: we pwn them

We lost to the Devs last game and if you ask any rangers fan on earth we already lost this one. Which brings me to my point:
Dearest Montreal,
Please don't whip our ***** again tonight just for once. Please?
Signed,
Suicidal ranger fans

Loved that opening post too.

****ing tired of all the Desharnais talk on RDS, talk about pumping his tires. The guy had one good play in the shootout and all of a sudden he's a great player. Even though he was pretty bad for most of the game, Briere deserves to have his minutes on the thirld line as a center.

This isn't the Rangers team of 2 years ago (and even that team struggled against the small, soft Habs). They can, however, get breakaways, and I'd rather have the bottom pairing scrub who can at least keep up with play without falling into his own goalie.

Ok on Murray, big meh on Parros. Fighting aside, he's a detriment out there. I can't handle it.

what do you think DD is? The fact he needs to be coddled is hurting the other guys on his lines, whoever he winds up playing with.

Gallagher doing rushes with his line during warmups, looking like he could be playing.

JohnLuTSNMtl: #Habs line rushes:
Prust/Plekanec/Gionta; Galchenyuk/Eller/Gallagher (GTD flu); Pacioretty/Desharnais/Bourque; Bournival/Briere/Moen

Obviously Desharnais gets gifted the third line centre spot while Briere who has put up more points in his last 2 games than DD has all year gets moved to the 4th line..

Therrien once again breaks up Bournival and Plek to put him on the ****ngi 4th line.

Prepare to be disappointed: I put DD in the lineup 100/100 times before Parros. Parros comes in only for White when we face teams like the Leafs and Ruins.

DD knows how to play even though he's playing atrocious since the start of the year. Parros doesn't know what he's doing out there except for fighting of course.

Hi all, first time poster and huge Habber......lets hope that the recently healthy Habs can string together a pair of wins...and that another line besides EGG can create some offence

Therrien ins a ****ing moron!

I love Prust, but Burnival is is 100 times better offensively and should be with Plekky. If not him, MaxPac. There's no reason for Prust to be on the 1st/2nd line ahead of Bournival or Pacioretty.

Why the hell is Bouillon sitting instead of Murray?

FFS. What does Bouillon have to do to be benched?

We had a line creating a ton of opportunities but were broken up after a period - Pacioretty-Briere-Bourque.

Oh, and welcome to the forum! Steer clear of Karlsson fanboys, best advice I can give you!
