Schneider seems to make some sense for Buffalo, obviously the rangers would have to add. Would be fun to see a huge blockbuster with Byram or Power (long shot I know)+Peterka for Schneider+Laf+ or something like that. Any prospect not named Perreault I would add to Schneider and Laf.

You'd be absolutely insane to not trade Cuylle for Peterka.

No. Not really. I don't think either of these guys has yet to reach his peak but Cuylle's game isn't all that different from JT Miller's--albeit Cuylle's a LW. Big, strong N/S forward who pretty much can do everything. One thing he hasn't gotten a lot of though is power play time. Still he's a very effective player away from the puck and a really good penalty killer already and he's not afraid of anyone. He's top 5 in the league in hits. He'll fight as well. He's not great at any particular thing but he's good at pretty much everything and only 22 years old. In my eyes he's as valuable as Lafreniere. He's definitely had a better year than Laf.

The entire Rangers organization isnt worth enough for Peterka lol

Of course they're not. Not all together everybody included worth any of Dahlen, Power, Tuch or Thompson either. That's why Buffalo should continue to hold on to JJ whether he's happy there or not. We all know that the Sabres are on the cusp of great things anyway. JJ just needs to give them a little more time.

If Peterka is available the Canucks should be on it, that's the kind of player we need. Idk what we'd trade though.

The Sabres are a difficult team to trade with.. everyone that wants their players is a playoff team trying to add, but the Sabres don't want futures. Tough to pull off.
Its more of an offseason move.

He needs to be paid and they are a poverty franchise

cheap owner
I loathe the way Terry Pegula runs this franchise but no, that’s just not true.
If they’re trading JJ it’s because JJ wants to be traded. Pegula being cheap has f*** all to do with THIS decision.

Ok, who is leaking what. One of these teams is clearly trying to leverage the other.

Im willing to believe Staple over them all as hes seriously plugged into the NY Hockey scene

But the fact that its randomly come up must mean theres some sort of smoke.. right? I mean the kid just scored tonight lol so hes still playing the night before the deadline
