it's an x amount of players on a list per day type of thing where we all bid on the same players and yes you're free to bid on anyone for any amount as long as your under the $100M cap, I'll post the rules on what happens if you go over the cap later tonight.

Basically it's all on done a sheet where you type your team name and send in your bids, only takes about 5-15 mins per day depending on how thorough you are. And the auction is usually done within 10 or 11 days.

Check past games for approximate player value. I find it helps me not overspend......most of the time.

I mostly kinda went on what i'd pay the guy and then added some juice because the $100M cap thing. But i don't like math, so i didn't actually expand things proportionally probably.


But heck, i guess we'll see what happens. And how badly i screwed myself or didn't. Hopefully i didn't.

But hey...what's the worst that could happen? I get into voided bids and impossible roster on Day 1? Feel like it's also entirely plausible that i end up with absolutely no players whatsoever. Probably one or the other.

Personally, i put all of my mistakes in an Excel spreadsheet. So i can look at them and appreciate the full gravity of what i've done.

But that might not be for everyone.

Perhaps if a team wants to use their buyout, that player goes on waivers first?
Could save the team the buyout penalty and help another team fill a spot.

I like this idea, I don't like changing rules mid-game though just because some people get upset so I can run a poll and if no one is against it then I'll add it starting tomorrow.
