I'll take the two points. Missed the first half of the game but from what I saw we played damned good defense. That'sy biggest concern is how we can shut it down, so I'll take this against a squad with a lot of weapons in Vancouver, on a back to back no less.

Also just enjoyed the fun OT of the Montreal-Washington game. Montreal won it off a Suzuki rebound. They would be such a nice story if they can sneak a wildcard spot.

Well it wasn't pretty but it was a good effort and a well-earned two points.

It's funny listening to the other team's feed, like I did tonight. According to the VAN announcers, the Canes committed at least 8 or so penalties that weren't called, and Necas got his stick up into Forbort and his head just got in the way of that check. Still, this was better than the Pens announcers the other day who were counting the number of times Blake fell down "without getting touched" lol.

I'm going to respectfully disagree. I don't hate the players, but Montreal fans and the Montreal media can take long walks off short piers. Frankly a long playoff drought for them is deserved.
